This course is required before filing for bankruptcy and is approved by the U.S. Trustee's Office and Bankruptcy Administrator.

We have designed the first bankruptcy course and website with the user in mind: you will find that it is very simple to use and easy to navigate. Our audio feature adds an element of fun and interaction to the course. The course also includes interactive charts that will help you plan a budget and visualize where you're exceeding on your spending.

The First Bankruptcy Course is only $19.95 per household.

Married couples can take the bankruptcy credit counseling together or separately.

Availability

The first bankruptcy course is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can take the course at your own convenience and at your own pace.

First Bankruptcy Course

The course is easy to navigate and very informative. Remember, this is a no-fail course – you cannot fail the course.

Time

This is a 1-hour timed course, as required by law. You are not required to complete the pre-filing bankruptcy credit counseling in one sitting. If you log off mid-course, upon signing back in, it will resume from where you left off.

Certificates

Your certificate will be emailed to you upon completion of the course. The certificate is available immediately after you complete the course and chat with a live counselor and is your proof of credit counseling certification.

What You Will Learn During the First Bankruptcy Course
